Thank you to all the supporters of Fix It Now Minnesota who helped bring about a solution to extend the health care program for the state’s poorest residents – most of whom have incomes of less than $2,700 a year. This program, called General Assistance Medical Care, has provided coverage for these Minnesotans since 1976, and would have been eliminated if the Legislature and the governor had not come up with a compromise solution.
